New Resource Center Provides Education Information for Students
As a student, it can be rather difficult to find accurate information pertaining to schools, their courses, and career opportunities. It’s not that the information isn’t readily available, of course; it’s simply that information has a way of becoming jumbled and thus difficult to navigate through.
Last week, the way we view information changed in a positive fashion when the U.S. News University Directory launched their new Resource Center.
The U.S. News University Directory has long held a solid reputation of being the leading education portal for prospective students, connecting them directly to traditional universities and also accredited online programs. The Directory’s new Resource Center was specifically designed to help both new and returning students more easily navigate the choosing of colleges and degree programs.
The Directory has been all about helping students find the right path for them since it started, and through an arrangement with the U.S. News & World Report, the Directory service is now able to take on a caretaker role, so to speak, immediately connecting students to highly ranked traditional universities and a slew of reputable, accredited online universities.
The new Resource Center also provides direct access to daily news briefs dealing in higher education, a large video library containing plenty of college-specific material, and plenty of literature to help students read up on the experience.
CMO for U.S News University Directory, Adrian Marrullier, stated, “By leveraging our relationship with U.S. News & World Report, we are able to provide world-class content for students looking to make an informed decision regarding the program and university that best fits their needs.”
For students using the Resource Center to find information about schools and/or particular programs, it is broken down into five categories:
Throughout these five categories, students will find plenty of information, including topics on:
- Which degree programs are most likely to get you hired for a job
- Where students can find scholarships and financial assistance
- Which career choices can bring in the highest salaries
- Top MBA programs not requiring the GMAT
- What every student needs to know about online degree programs
- And much, much more
Traditionally, hunting down this information for school was always more akin to an actual school assignment. Students would have to check one location for one bit of information and then seek another source for the next.
The new Resource Center provides a one-stop, all-inclusive information hub for students seeking a wide range of info about schools and career choices.
