Today's workforce is growing more educated and more skilled. In fact, a degree from a higher education institution is practically mandatory to qualify for the best jobs. But where do busy professionals find the time to complete their collegiate needs? In modern society, time seems to be the most precious commodity. In the past, professionals were forced to choose between family, a career, or school. That was until distance learning MBA programs made it possible for aspiring professionals and students to complete their education without having to sacrifice their family and career time.

We recognize that conventional methods of teaching are less than acceptable for the non-traditional student. Time and scheduling constraints, the high costs of tuition, and inflexible academic requirements are just a few of the many obstacles a distance learning MBA program can help students overcome.

Our distance learning MBA programs and degrees arm students with the requisite skills and knowledge to enable them to take their rightful place in the world – with unlimited opportunities for career advancement and personal growth.

Distance Learning Degree Research Information

In higher education, distance learning is providing MBA degrees to students in offices, at community colleges and in homes. Students for whom convenience may be a crucial factor in receiving college credit are earning degrees by satellite, audio, and via the Internet.

Faced with retraining 50 million American workers, corporate America is using distance learning, both internally and externally, for all aspects of training. Many major corporations save millions of dollars each year using distance learning to train employees more effectively and more efficiently than with conventional methods.

Programming for distance learning provides students with many options, both in technical configurations and content design. Educational materials are delivered primarily through interactive classes via the Web. The intent of these programs is not necessarily to replicate face-to-face instruction. Interactivity is accomplished via telephone (one-way video and two-way audio), two-way video or graphics interactivity, two-way computer hookups, or response terminals.

Technology offers many options for delivering and receiving distance education. The ability of the professor, the pupil and other students to see each other may not be a necessary condition for effective distance learning, but audio can be a critical component for interactivity. Teaching strategies based on computer applications are emerging that are also effective.
